You are born and raised in Miami? —-
Jedi Nemesis: Yessir. I was born right here in Miami.
What was it like growing up out here??—
Jedi Nemesis: Well… I’ll put it like this.. I saw somebody get killed when I was 11…
When did you first get into the hip hip scene out here in Miami?
Jedi Nemesis: Well, I’ve been rapping since I was about 12, but there was never a “scene” or an outlet so to speak.
I know your on your grind hard and I bet your already working on the next project(s) can you let us know what you have in the works? —-
Jedi Nemesis: Well… I’m working on my second Mixtape ” LoveForPeace Vol.2 Higher Learning ” I have a few mini tours coming up this fall here in the U.S and Canada. Just slow burning man..
who did you look up to in the Miami hip hop game growing up?—-
Jedi Nemesis: Laughs* well My mother wouldn’t let me listen to anyone she thought were exploiting women. And in those particular years, It was mainly Luke and The Too Live Crew, Poison Clan which spawned JT Money, then a little later Trick came out. And Moms wasn’t having non of it. But as I became a teenager I went back and coped all of the forbidden music just because.
What is the best show you have ever done in Miami?
Jedi Nemesis: The best show?? HMMM? I would have to say the shows I did for the Miami Music Festival, that’s about it. I mean as you know there’s no venues here that let lesser known artist in Miami that’s FROM Miami perform. That’s why when you asked of the “Miami Hip Hop” scene, I kinda scratched my head.
Any last words you have for all your fans out here in Miami and worldwide?—
Jedi Nemesis: Keep your eyes open for me.. I appreciate the love and support, as within, as without. LoveForPeace
Thanks for doing the interview with miamihiphop.org today we appreciate it.— Jedi Nemesis: Nah, I appreciate YOU GUYS! You’re doing things right now for Miami that you don’t even realize yet. And I’m gratefully appreciative for the opportunity. Keep up the good work! Peace!
